ISSNAF Local Chapters serve as vibrant hubs that unite and support the ISSNAF community within specific geographic areas.

They organize networking and educational events, support ISSNAF national programs, and partner with local institutions on collaborative activities.

Members and Affiliates are assigned to a Chapter upon joining ISSNAF based on their primary location.

​What do Local Chapters do?

Chapters organize activities that foster networking, knowledge sharing, and professional growth, including: 

• Membership Outreach and Support: Expanding the ISSNAF network in the Chapter's geographical area and ensuring it stays engaged; welcoming new ISSNAF members and participants in ISSNAF mobility programs. 

• Networking Events: Providing opportunities to connect with peers, mentors, and thought leaders; 

• Scientific Seminars & Webinars: Offering talks by distinguished experts across disciplines; 

• Cultural & Social Gatherings: Celebrating the Italian heritage and culture within the ISSNAF community; 

• Career Development Initiatives: Organizing workshops and panels to support career growth; 

• Support of ISSNAF-NA Initiatives: Helping spread the word about ISSNAF programs, awards, and opportunities; providing a direct connection between headquarters and membership. 

• Collaboration with Local Institutions: Partnering with the Italian Consulate in the geographic area of the Chapter, the Italian Cultural Institute, and other institutions on synergistic activities.
