On November 22, 2024, a new ISSNAF Chapter was established in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with the invaluable support of Dr. Mario Alberto Bartoli, Consul General of Italy in Chicago. The Chapter was inaugurated with an event held at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities campus, in the Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building.
Dr. Bartoli graced the occasion with his presence. Attendees enjoyed a series of engaging presentations by Italian scholars from various disciplines, highlighting their research and contributions. The event concluded with a networking luncheon.

The ISSNAF Minnesota Chapter is dedicated to supporting the community of Italian
scholars, scientists and technologists working in both academic and industrial sectors across the state. The Chapter will host inclusive events aimed at building a strong network for Italian students and scholars in Minnesota, serving both long-term residents and newcomers alike. Additionally, the Chapter seeks to promote exchanges, collaborations, and partnerships with Italian universities, institutions, and companies.
We look forward to many dynamic and productive years ahead!
