PROF. VITO CAMPESE TALKS ABOUT THE YI PAOLA CAMPESE AWARD

Since 2011, the Campese family has honored researchers who advance the understanding and treatment of hematologic malignancies. This award, established in memory of Paola Campese, daughter of Vito and Stefania, recognizes and supports scientists whose work brings hope and progress in the fight against leukemia and other hematologic malignancies. For over a decade, the Campese family has provided encouragement for early career researchers in the field.

A QUEST FOR A CURE

The creation of the award, in memory of Paola Campese's valiant fight against leukemia, is dedicated to pioneering research in the field. Prof. Vito Campese, ISSNAF Founder and former President, highlights that the award serves not only to commemorate Paola but also to spark a fervor for innovation in the quest for a cure of hematologic malignancies among young scientists. It stands as a symbol of perseverance, commitment, and the unyielding quest for scientific advancements.
